IBADAN – Chief (Mrs.) Bolupe Aminat Aramide, the Are Aago Iyalode of Ibadanland, has donated a borehole to residents of Progressive Community, Aba-Ibeji, off Arapaja Road, Odo-Ona Kekere, Ibadan, through her humanitarian organisation, BOLDAN Foundation, in a bid to improve access to clean and safe drinking water.
The borehole project, executed in partnership with the Rotary Club of Ibadan, is expected to end years of water scarcity in the community and provide residents with a reliable source of potable water.
Speaking on behalf of the community during the commissioning, Alhaja Agboola Hamzat expressed profound appreciation to Chief (Mrs.) Bolupe Aminat Aramide for the generous intervention, describing the project as a life-changing gesture that would improve hygiene, promote better health, and ease the burden of sourcing water.
She noted that the donation reflects the philanthropist's unwavering commitment to humanitarian service and community development, adding that the project would positively impact many households in the community.
