IBADAN – Ibadan South West Local Government Chairmanship Aspirant, Hon. Tunde Oluyedun, has congratulated the Executive Chairman of the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB), Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, on the occasion of his 64th birthday, describing him as a distinguished educationist and an exemplary public servant.
In a congratulatory message made available to journalists on Thursday, Oluyedun lauded Dr. Adeniran's impactful leadership at OYOSUBEB, noting that his administration has brought remarkable transformation to basic education across Oyo State.
According to him, the renovation of public primary schools, provision of instructional materials, and continuous capacity-building programmes for teachers under Dr. Adeniran's watch have helped restore confidence in the public school system and improved learning outcomes for pupils across the state's 33 local government areas.
The chairmanship aspirant also commended the celebrant's track record of service, from his days as Commissioner for Education to his current position as OYOSUBEB Chairman, describing him as a visionary leader driven by integrity, dedication, and a passion for human capital development.
He noted that Dr. Adeniran's accessibility and collaboration with stakeholders have contributed immensely to the effective implementation of educational policies at the grassroots level.
"At 64, Dr. Nureni Adeniran remains a shining example of humility, dedication and selfless service. His contributions to the development of education in Oyo State continue to inspire political leaders, education stakeholders and the younger generation," Oluyedun said.
He prayed that Almighty Allah would grant the celebrant many more years in good health, wisdom, and renewed strength to continue rendering valuable service to Oyo State and humanity.
