Governor Seyi Makinde has expressed deep appreciation to former President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, GCFR, for officially commissioning the newly completed Ibadan Central Bus Terminals 1 & 2.
Speaking at the event, Governor Makinde reiterated his administration’s resolve to complete all ongoing projects and fulfill every promise made to the people of Oyo State.
He explained that the bus terminals represent a major part of his government’s broader vision to build a modern and organized Oyo State — one with efficient transport systems that ensure safety, convenience, and economic growth.
> “Our goal is to make Oyo State a place where people can move freely and safely, where infrastructure supports business and innovation, and where the environment reflects the standards we aspire to as a forward-thinking state,”
the governor said.
The commissioning marks another milestone in the state’s journey toward achieving world-class infrastructure and sustainable urban development.
