Ibadan Mega Voice, an association of Ibadan-born professionals in broadcasting, public relations, advertising, theatre, and other communication-related fields, has honoured the Governor of Agbekoya Farmers Society of Nigeria (Oyo State), Chief Ashagidigbi Olatunde Bello.
The honour was conferred during the grand finale of the association’s third-anniversary celebration held today 30th November,2025 at NUJ Hall, BCOS Basorun, Ibadan, where Chief Ashagidigbi received the Outstanding Personality of Ibadanland Award.
Speaking at the event, the President of Ibadan Mega Voice, Aare Kola Olomide, described Chief Ashagidigbi as a deeply supportive figure whose contributions have significantly impacted the growth and stability of the association. He expressed confidence that the Agbekoya Governor will continue to inspire and support initiatives that promote Ibadan’s cultural and social development.
The prestigious award was presented by Oba Tajudeen Ajibola, the Balogun of Ibadanland, who commended Ibadan Mega Voice for consistently recognising excellence within the community.
Other notable award recipients at the event included Senator Fatai Buhari; Prince Dr. Azeez Adeduntan, former Commissioner for Health; Oloye Abiola Ìyíọlá, Aare-Onibon Olubadan; and Dr. Mrs. Adebukola Kadiri, among others.
The anniversary celebration brought together distinguished personalities across Ibadaland, further cementing Ibadan Mega Voice’s reputation as a leading platform for media and communication professionals dedicated to the progress of the ancient city.
