In a notable transition at the helm of Nigeria’s military command, General Christopher Musa has officially handed over leadership of the Defence Headquarters to Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, the newly appointed Chief of Defence Staff (CDS). The ceremony took place at the Defence Headquarters in Abuja, where military brass and dignitaries gathered to witness the change of guard.
According to reports, General Musa delivered a farewell address in which he reflected on his years of service, thanking officers and the nation for their trust and support. He urged the Armed Forces to remain united and disciplined under the incoming leadership.
