IBADAN — The Temitope Obideyi Pillar of Sports Youth Development Foundation has unveiled its official partners as part of efforts to build strategic collaborations that will support its programmes and expand opportunities for young people across Oyo State and beyond.

The foundation, founded by Mr. Temitope Ademola Obideyi, was officially launched on August 8, 2026, at Moremi Hall, Academy Suites, Ososami, Ibadan, with a one-day capacity-building seminar that brought together over 150 coaches from across Oyo State.

The launch marked the beginning of the foundation's broader vision of contributing to youth development through sports, grassroots talent discovery, coaching development, mentorship and the creation of meaningful opportunities for young people.

Foundation Builds Partnership Network

As it begins its activities, the foundation has established strategic partnerships with four organisations whose services and expertise complement its programmes.

The official partners are:

Shooting Stars Sports Club

Omooola Travels & Tours

PAVELET — Sportswear & Clothing Line

Dewaxy Car & Bus Rentals

Sraemal Properties

The partnerships are expected to provide practical support and opportunities that will enhance the foundation's programmes while creating additional value for young people and other stakeholders connected to its activities.

The foundation stated that more strategic partnerships are currently being discussed as it continues to expand its network of organisations and individuals committed to youth development.

From Launch to Action

The foundation's launch was not limited to a ceremonial unveiling. Its inaugural programme featured a professional development seminar for more than 150 coaches drawn from different parts of Oyo State.

Participants were exposed to capacity-building sessions aimed at strengthening their knowledge and effectiveness as coaches and grassroots sports developers.

The foundation also provided participants with customised Pillar of Sports T-shirts, caps and writing materials, giving the inaugural programme a distinct identity while demonstrating the organisers' attention to practical engagement.

The initiative reflects Obideyi's belief that developing young athletes must go hand in hand with strengthening the capacity of those responsible for identifying, training and mentoring them.

A Vision Beyond Football

While sports remains at the heart of the foundation's activities, its broader objective is youth development and empowerment.

Through strategic partnerships, capacity building and grassroots engagement, the foundation aims to contribute to an environment where young people can discover their abilities, develop discipline and access opportunities that can positively influence their future.

The foundation's partnership strategy is therefore expected to play an important role in translating its vision into sustainable programmes.

With more collaborations in the pipeline, the Temitope Obideyi Pillar of Sports Youth Development Foundation is positioning itself as a platform where sports, youth development, mentorship and strategic partnerships can converge to create lasting impact.

The journey has begun. And with strong partnerships, the foundation believes there is more to build.
